Urgent Help Needed: Opacity Issue in Adobe Illustrator When Reopening Files

Hi everyone,

I'm facing a frustrating issue with Adobe Illustrator and am hoping someone here might be able to help. Every time I reopen my Adobe Illustrator file, the opacity of many elements on the page drops unexpectedly. This doesn’t happen to every single element, but it affects a significant number, and it’s really disrupting my workflow.

This is particularly concerning because it’s happening with a critical client project that has an impending deadline. Here are some details about my setup:

Adobe Illustrator Version: 28.5, 2024

Operating System: Macbook Pro 2023, 14Inch

Frequency of Issue: Every time the file is reopened

Steps Taken to Resolve: Updated software, restarted computer, Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated. I really need to get this resolved as soon as possible.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello @Selwyn25319724vfvk,

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind updating Illustrator (https://adobe.ly/3AmwxeI) to the latest version to check if it helps?

If the problem persists, kindly share more details, like a public link to a sample file after uploading it to Dropbox/Google Drive/etc., and a screen recording of the problem (https://adobe.ly/46JhUOI), so we can investigate this further.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav
