Use image to fill in offset behind text

Hi everyone,

 

I'd like the image with the clouds to be the offset background of the words in the image below.  Does anyone know how to do this?  Thank you for your help!

Hey Lauren, 

 

why not try selecting all the cloud outlines and going: Object > Compound Path > Make. This will turn the individual shapes into one shape.

 

Then bring that shape to the front of your cloud image and go: Object > Clipping Mask > Make.

 

That will paste your cloud image inside your cloud shape. Good luck!

Those lines are already paths?

Select them all and make a compound path.

Then apply that as a clipping mask on the photo
