Use of textures

Hi everyone! Sorry for the naive and maybe trivial question. But am I allowed to use already available textures in Illustrator, like the materials in the 3D&materials section for original artworks to be published? Or would it create a problem for copyright etc? I am recently entering the field and would like to avoid situations that may pose a problem.
