Hey frineds,

I download a graphic style from freepik but I couldn't add it as a graphic style in Illustrator and use it on my text.

this is what I downloaded:

https://www.freepik.com/free-vector/ouch-onomatopoeias-lettering-retro-style_6156946.htm#query=illustrator%20graphic%20styles&position=1&from_view=keyword&track=ais_user&uuid=0c11c3ea-f347-4ddb-ac57-6e58f9648e1d

Is it possible to use this as a graphic style? When I drag it to the graphic style window the style looks empty

Thanks

No, those are expanded shapes. A graphic style would be composed of a series of appearances and effects (i.e. multiple strokes, fills etc.). There are numerous elements there that couldn't be a graphic style. The closest I can get quickly is something like this:

Thanks Doug!

So out of curiosity, what is the use of the vector that I posted here if not for graphic style?

I don't have any insight into the author's motives.
