Using mini PC versus mini Mac from 2012 with Adobe illustrator

Hi,
I currently use adobe illustator with an asus mini pc PN-41-S1 with these specifications: 

-Celeron N5100 Quad Core Processor

-Integrated - Intel® UHD Graphics

-Memory: 2 x DDR4 SO-DIMM, Max. 16GB x 1 or 8GB x 2


It could work quicker but it is sufficient for what I use illustrator for these days. I consider buying a mac and wonder how a mini mac from 2012 would do compared to my mini-pc:

Apple Mac Mini, Intel Core i5 2, 5 Ghz, 8 Gb Ram, 500 Gb Hdd, Intel HD Graphics 4000 1, 5 Gb.

Your current computer has a much newer processor, more RAM, better integrated graphics. The Mac would struggle to run Illustrator at all. It will also be stuck with Mac OS Catalina (10.15), which the latest version of Illustrator is not compatible with.
