Question

Using progressive layers between multiple items doesn't work

I can't even adjust the gradient levers.

I use com+8 and com+opt+g
Neither of these works

This problem occurs after the 2025 version
I downgraded it back to the 2024 version and I can no longer use gradient levers on multiple objects.

Hello @visual_quirk0512,

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind sharing more details, like the OS/Illustrator version, and a screen recording of your exact workflow, so I can better assist you?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

about the following two problems (such as videos) after updating my illustrator to 2025 (29.0.1)
My laptop is a mac
1. The gradient lever becomes unusable when used with multiple objects.
2. Usually when you click the gradient tool, the gradient editing lever will automatically appear.
But when you change it, you still need to click the edit gradient in the window.
It feels uncomfortable to press it like this all the time...
My colleague who is also a PC also updated to 2025 (29.0.1) but did not have such a problem.
Tried the following methods, but none of them work.
- cmd+8 to convert to compound path
- cmd+opt+g displays gradient annotators
- Uninstall and reinstall
-Downgrade version to version 2024
