variable width profile not work properly

Please show a before and after screenshot, so we can see what settings are using, and where exactly you are changing width profile.

There is no video.

It sounds like you are drawing with the brush tool and try to apply a width profile. This is not supposed to work. If you want to apply a width profile, draw with the pencil tool.
