Várias funções do ilustrator inativas

Olá! Faz alguns dias que estou tentando acessar várias funcionalidades do ilustrator, mas a maioria permanece em "cinza claro" e não consigo acessar, e consequentemente, não consigo concluir meu projeto. Saberiam-me ajudar com isso?

Some functions will only be selectable when you have the correct object selected.
