I download an AI file from Adobe Stock to use in some of my projects.

In the AI program, I open the file, and I am facsinated by the art.

I don't know how to do the cool things that I see in the art.

Question is, is there anyway in Illustrator that allows me to see the workflow that was used in different objects of the art? Like some kind of History of the object that shows what functions the creator used to make a certain object look a certain way.

Indeed! I'm unmarking that correct. Especially with stock images.

Likely the Appearance has been flattened.

But if you can post a screenshot, we might give you a clue.

Hi. As @Doug A Roberts said, the Appearance panel describes fills, strokes, effects, etc applied to the selected object. It's a good guide to know how it was created. But, if the graphic was expanded you won't get all those information.
