Vector images showing as blurred

For a couple months now, I've been experiencing weird illustrator behavior where images within my file (both vector and pixel linked images) are appearing as super blurred, double-images. It seems to be link to GPU Performance, however, having GPU Performance checked has become a necessity to the brevity of my workflow. It seems insane to me that the user would need to downgrade their experience and workflow in order to not experience glithces like these. I've reached out to tech support and did not get a solution because the issue was not happening while I was sharing my computer remotely. He was like, "Well, it's working perfectly fine now." I explained that I cant't make it happen, it just happens. And it's frustrating for a product that I use for 12 hours a day, everyday for over a decade. I've never experienced this and dont seem to be getting anywhere with the tech team. Wondering if anyone else out there has expereince this and what, if anything, is there to do about it? Thanks in advance. Sorry for coming off salty, this has just been a frustrating point of friction for me while trying to work full-time. I'm so hoping it can be resilved.
