Very slow opening, saving and closing illustrator

I have been using Adobe products practically since the company started. This is the worst I've seen it. It can take several minutes to open a file or save it. I get the stupid spinning ball on all products, but Illustrator and Photoshop are incredibly slow.

Any third party plugins installed?

Where are the files located?

Is a printer connected and turned on?

Have you already tried to reset the OOBE folder?
