Very small thumbnail for some illustrator files

Some Illustratrator files are rendered with a very small thumbnails in Bridge with only ~30 x ~20 ... how can I change this in Illustrator?

I think that very small artboards will give very small images. A 25 pt or px artboard will show at that size, while much larger artboard will be scaled down in the thumnail.

@konrad79 In Bridge, the setting might be set to 'Details' — if you changed that to 'Details' or 'List' you may get it bigger like I have?

No, that doesn't change anything. Since the base resolution of such an Illustrator image is e.g. 26px x 15px - wihtout a given dpi resolution as in my screenshot. 

There must be a setting in Illustrator itself, that defines the size and resolution of the image / artboard.

 

If a add in one of the tiny illustrations above e.g. a square by typing figures of 100px - it appears huge in Illustrator. Since the artboard itself must be around 26px wide.
