View large size canvas pdf in Adobe Acrobat

I've saved a large canvas file (6 x 2.5m) as a PDF file from AI and when saving it a notification popped up saying that I can only view the file at actual size in Acrobat 1.6 or later. I've got an Adobe subscription but my Acrobat seems to not be able to view the PDF at the actual size. I have version 23.0. How can I access a version 1.6 or later?
