Wacom Cintiq 27QHD - does illustrator support pen tilt recognition?

Hi,

I've recently purchased an Cintiq 27QHD. As an illustrator I work solely in vector using Ai CC 2017.  I can't find a way to use 'tilt recognition' using the wacom pro-pen. Does anyone know if Ai 2017 CC supports tilt recognition so I can use the pro-pen naturally like a normal hand held pen? (At the moment the only way I can make a mark/stroke on screen is to hold the pen completely vertical).

Many thanks.

Thanks Monika for your succinct reply and clarifying that Ai does indeed support tilt – that's great news.

Should it automatically work when drawing in Ai or do you need to activate it? I can only use the pen directly vertical, it draws nothing if tilted or swivelled. I've tried various configurations in the brushes panels fixed/random/tilt etc.

I'm using Ai CC 2017.  Wacom Cintiq 27QHD with the latest drivers. I am mirroring from an iMac.

Thanks.
