Warp Text Enveloppe Distort not working

I am trying to warp text using enveloppe distort. It's showing me all the shapes i can warp it into but they are all greyed out and unusable. Why?

I am selecting the text beforehand, I don't know what's wrong.

OOPS- Nevermind I just had to vectorise it in order to be able to distort it, sorry everyone !
