WEB to Print Design

Hello,

I designed a web flyer for a client in RGB mode in Illustrator.

The client has now informed me they need print versions.

What would be the best way to convert my current design to CMYK?

File > Document mode > CMYK

Check all the used colors if they are translated well (you might need something similar to the Trumatch color finder book for that)

Correct the black to 100 K

Since all of this depends on color managmeent, make sure it's set up accordingly before you convert.

Bear in mind that if you included raster images - JPEG etc. - that work made specifically for screen may be useless for print. Check the effective ppi carefully (and if you don't know what effective ppi is, find out before you waste time and money printing sonething the client will reject!)
