Weird selection bug, selecting elements not in view

Has this happened to anyone else?
When you're selecting between different groups, sometimes it seems like another element remains "selected" even after choosing a new one, which affects the transformation box.

In the example I'm sharing, I selected only the image on the right, but the transformation box stretches toward an element that isn't even part of the group I'm currently in.

Maybe far too far out, is it happening in connexion with a previously selected area type object?

But as far as I know this bugs comes from time to time as far from CS Versions
