What app for editing SVG logo

Hi,

I need to make animated logo with output format of SVG. I'm thinking to use Adobe Animate for this purpose, but have found information that some of  features/functionality might not work properly with this solution. 

Could you confirm if it's safe tool in this case, or you would suggest another , better way to edit my logo?
