Question

What happened to all my key commands?

I updated to the latest version of Illustrator this morning and now have lost all of the key commands. I cannot constrain, duplicate, select multiple objects. WTF! I uninstalled it to reinstall an older version and the same thing. I am about to LOSE MY MIND!!!! It's my work computer. This is going to slow me down tremendously. What happened?

If you have a Wacom tablet unplugged and restar the computer, open illustrator and plug the Wacom, that did the trick for me

If you saved your own customized keyboard shortcuts, they should be located in the Preferences folder of your user area under the Illustrator version.

On my Mac, my "Steve Keyset" is saved in this path:

Computer > Users > [username] > Library > Preferences > Adobe Illustrator [version number] Settings > enUS [or your language] > SteveKeyset.kys.

Illustrator doesn't permit the import of a keyset from a different location. But if you've changed versions you could probably move the "kys" to the new version folder.

Is this about your personal key commands or the general ones?

Is there anything set up in Edit > Keyboard shortcuts?

However, we've not heard back from the Original Poster (suzannew) to tell us what key commands she is having problems with.
