What has happened to the keyboard shortcut for non-breaking spaces?

I have been using the keyboard shortcut for non-breaking spaces for ages (Ctrl-Alt-X). Since the latest update, the shortcut does not work. I tried to customise my shortcuts, but it would not let me.

I can add that shortcut, but it needed a couple of tries.

@DTF 2026 Sometimes, I would override it. It should tell you there is a conflict or in use by another feature/shortcut, click "Go to conflict" to see what is blocking it.
