What’s the fastest and most comfortable way to exit a text frame and quickly switch to the Selection tool?
In InDesign, I always like to set Ctrl+Q as the shortcut for the Selection tool, so I can quickly exit text frames.
But in Illustrator, configuring shortcuts is nearly impossible. So I have to use Ctrl+click to temporarily exit the text frame.
Old habits die hard—sometimes I try to press V to switch to the Selection tool, only to realize I’ve accidentally typed the letter V inside the text frame.
Do you guys have a better method?
