Hi all,

 

I'm very new with illustrator and am slowly self-teaching myself. I've wanted to ask whether someone can help me with finding out which tool the following effect was made with?

Just to add that the stroke of the paths has a gradient applied to it.

Create two curved paths and create a blend between them (Object > Blend > Make). Adjust the blend steps in the options.
