when adding new asset into existing list of assets it messes all the existing ones

I have a page full of icons that I already divided and added them into the asset export list (months ago). the asset export is working good until I add a new icon to the asset list... it messes all other existing assets (adding random groups and layers)

tried for hours to find online help for that.

Any thoughts?

Can you please describe step by step what you are doing?

thank u for repling, 

i open the document with the logos and try to export them - work fine,

i duplicate one logo and adding it to the asset export list - works fine.

saving the document.

edit the text over the logo- here it splits into two scenarios:

1.it looks fine and exports good, saving, when re-open the same document it messes up everything

2. when i edit the text it imidetly messesup all.

undo not working, tried reset the illustrator, tried to install older version-nothing, it the same. we're talking over a 60 icons

I can'r reproduce your result. Did you reset the preferences after or while updating? Did you already reboot the system?
