Hi all, When i drag and drop a High resolution TIFF image into my illustrator file, it seems to change the colour of the image in illustrator, when saved as a PDF and when printed. It gives the image a brownish tinge. Is there a setting to change this somehow. Need help desperately to resolve this!

Flattered that you believe we are so amazing on these forums, and that we can answer questions with little information, but we can better help you if you provide  more information . What color mode is your tiff, 8 bit or 1-bit,  compression settings, color settings from Photoshop, color mode of your illustrator file.

Can you provide a screenshot, or even better a copy of the image via dropbox or similar.

My reply would be  very lengthy if I had to cover all the reasons.

    Kim,

I believe it may be a matter of (diiferent) colour mode and/or colour management.
