When I edit an object or text in a document the object becomes invisible when I deselect it

In the last few days when I edit an object or amend some text in a document the object becomes invisible. I can't edit anything as it just becomes invisible after I edit it. 

 

Is this already reported bug? It's just started happening in the last few days. I'm using Illustrator 29.3.1. I just updated it today too to check if the bug was fixed but it's still happening.

Hi Thank you for coming back to me. It is with two files so far, and one when i saved it as a pdf also changed font and letters were missing too! Not something i've seen before. I will replicate while recording and attach here. But one thing i just noticed while trying to understand the problem: it's only occuring with illustrator 2025. I also have illustrator 2024 still and that is working ok.

Would you mind confirming if Illustrator behaves this way with all files and sharing a small screen recording of your exact workflow and the problem, so I can try and replicate this on my end?
