When i use the ellipse tool.........

the ellipse tool now draws when a pattern or jagged edge.

Stroke is set to uniform and basic. Both show a clean line, but jagged line is drawn.

Everything I look at says it should be a smooth line.

Please help.

I have tried existing and closing the program and drawing. and starting a new drawing. those did not help.
