When opening an existing ai file it opens 3 tabs for the same file.

Hello,

 

When opening a file I get 3 tabs with the same file. If I make an edit on 1 it updates on all 3.

1 tab is zoomed out (25%), the other tabs are the same (88.89%)

 

How can I get this to only open 1 File going forward?

Adobe Illustrator 2022 26.5.2

OS: Windows
Version: 11.0
Process Architecture: x86_64

    Hi @williamf13256347,

     

    Thanks for reaching out. I understand that when you open an existing AI file, it opens multiple tabs for the same file in Adobe Illustrator.  Would you mind sharing the download link to the file via DM or here? I will check at my end and share my observations with you.
