Where's the Blob Brush?

I am learning how to use Illustrator and while doing a tutorial I was told to select the blob brush. I cannot find this brush anywhere in my brush library and it is not in my brush panel. I've tried googling where to find it and have been unable to locate it. How do I get this brush?

What version are you using? The Blob brush was new in CS5, I believe. Assuming you are not on CS4 or earlier, it lives with the Paintbrush tool. Tap Shift B or press and hold on the Paintbrush tool to access it.

It's a tool, not a custom brush definition.

Take a look at the Tools palette.
