Question

while moving object getting This operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. (PARM)

I was working on Illustrator when suddenly I couldn't move the object I just created. Then there was a pop-up box that said: "This operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. (PARM)".

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, as well as going to the version I had before the update, but nothing has fixed it. I also went through the forum and have tried the things recommended on similar posts, but still nothing works.

I also tried asking the virtual assistant to open a support ticket, but it's claiming I have no account, which I definitely do. I've had an account for the last 5+ years.

It shouldn't be this difficult to contact customer support. I couldn't even find an email address.

Hi @EricaGeoy,

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulty you're having with contacting customer support. I hope the link shared by Monika helped (https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html) and you resolved the issue.  If not, would you mind sharing the Cloud document where you get the PARM error? We will check on our end.

Ensure the "anyone with the link can view" and "save a copy" option is selected.

Also, please confirm the OS & Ai version as well.

Kindly update the discussion if you still need assistance with it. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks,

Anshul Saini

Did the file get any more complex since yesterday? What did you add?
