White is appearing as yellow in new Illustrator CC 2019 23.0

HELP. I just upgraded to Illustrator CC 2019 new release and all my white backgrounds look YELLOW. Here's the thread in your bug fixes posts: White is now yellow – Adobe Illustrator Feedback

These top two images are both transparent png files and as you can see they're yellow: this shows up when I'm in the "optimizing" window to save the files out. It also appears when I open an .ai file...see captureAIfile...the image is a screenshot of what i see when I open the file in Illustrator.

If I need to backtrack to the previous release please send me the URL to download/install it.

We have a fix and is available in the pre-release build. Please visit https://adobe.ly/1o2SDsg and get the latest build for version 23.0.1

While the build is prerelease this build is still of production quality. Please feel free to use / recommend it for your day to day activity.

What happens if you purge the cache?

You can Right- (or Ctrl-) Click on a preview and select Purge Cache for Selection.

this worked for me!

1. Open control Panel. Search for Color management.

2.Check the option for Use my settings for this device.

3.Click on Add and then add sRGB IEC61966-2.1 color profile. After adding the color profile, Set it as default.

4.Now re-launch the illustrator.

I have same problem (on windows 10) with new update (version 23.0). That fix above didn't work for me.

Interesting: If I drag the files to PS or ID it displays the correct colour.

My fix for now: I installed previous version 22.1, no issues! Until this bug is not fixed, I stick with that version!

Go to Edit -> Color Settings -> Settings -> Monitor color.
or
Shift+Ctrl+K and change settings to monitor color and click OK,

this will solve your problem.

later you can go to the same settings and choose any color profile, yellow color won't come back.

I hope this answer will solve your problem.

This works for one time. After closing Illustrator and start it again, the same problem occurs.

I FOUND A FIX EVERYONE!! HERE ARE THE STEPS:

• Save your work and quit Illustrator

• click on finder and choose Go at the top

• and then choose Go to folder

• type ~/library

• choose ok

• choose preferences

• choose Adobe, then choose color

• there is a file named " aceconfigcache2.lst "

• move that file to desktop

• Then launch Illustrator and check if it works now

• If so, move file to trash and purge

Hope this helps!!

Just tried the link you posted and it is not available. Is it an incorrect link or did Adobe pull the page? I would not be surprised in the slightest if Adobe is trying to cover up their errors now that 2019 is dropping like a lead weight.
