Why in the world it's not possible to copy and paste text from the internet into Illustrator?

Some years ago, this was not an issue, but now it's not possible to copy and paste a text from the internet into Illustrator. No problem into Photoshop... This is an ongoing issue.. I thought it would be solved by now... but not yet.. You need to copy to Photoshop to copy and paste into Illustrator...well, well..
