Why is my current subscription asking me to renew in order to save anything created?

Hello,

my current subscription to Adobe Illustrator is asking me to renew in order to save anything from illustrator, do I have the correct download? I recently lost my PC with the original subscription and had to download my subscription onto the new Macbook Pro. how do I make sure I download the correcct version of my subscription?

Your subscription is tied to your Adobe ID. So when you login to that ID, you're in. When you have too many active installations, you will be asked to terminate one of them and this can also be done from another computer. So all that cannot be the issue.
