Why is my pressure option greyed out in calligraphy brush

Hello !

I'm using a HP SPECTRE laptop that comes with a pen 

When I tried to use the pressure option on calligraphy brush I'm unable to use it as it has greyed out

Please give me a solution do I need a wacom because my laptops pen is pretty good

    I'm not familiar with the type. Do you know for sure that the hardware supports pressure? Does it work correctly in other apps?
