Why no "Release" Image Trace button in Options Bar?

Am I missing it or is there no "Release" button for Image Trace in the Options Bar? There is an "Expand" button, why not "Release"? Instead one has to navigate to Menu: Object>Image Trace>Release.

I thought the idea of the Options Bar was to have ready-access to current, tool-related options. Is there a way for the user to add relevant options to the Options Bar? That would make sense to me.
