Question

Windows 10 Desktop 'File not Found'

I have Illustrator files on my desktop. ai files are set to be opened by Adobe Illustrator.

Every time I double click on an Illustrator file on my desktop, I get "file not found". However if I open the same file through Illustrator everything is fine. So, I know the file is there, and that it will open. It just will not open by double clicking or right button clicking and selecting "open".

I can place the file anywhere (ie, on a network drive, in my documents folder, on a USB drive) and the file will open. I put it on my desktop and it will only open through Illustrator.

Can anyone help me?
