Wondering why AI file dates don't update in Windows 10 like Adobe PDFs do

Hi all,

I've noticed that the dates in Adobe Illustrator files don't appear to update in Windows, like Adobe PDFs do. I've attached a screenshot to show what I'm talking about. See how all the PDFs have the most recent dates (in November), while the Illustrator files are all over the place? I've changed all the Illustrator files in the last couple of days, so they should be November, too. Does anyone know what's going on here? It's not a huge deal, but it is helpful to me to see which files are the oldest (and thus potentially need to be updated). Thanks in advance!

Correct answer Mylenium

You are viewing the absolute (original creation) Date, not the Date Changed. they are different things. Click on the column headers and add the respective column.
