Wrap image into a spiral

I have seen a post that shows how to wrap a long image into a circle around a picture. Is there a way that I can wrap a long picture into a spiral. This is the picture I am looking at. It's music that I want to wrap around to make a CD style cover.

The first image is my starting point and the second image is what I am trying to create (but with the music from my first image). I hope that all makes sense!
