Wrong panel opens

I am trying to open the Align panel to float in the workspace area.  When I go to Windows>Align and click on 'Align'  instead of the Align panel coming up the 3D & Materials panel opens up instead.

 

Is it a bug? Is it something else? 

 

Thanks for help to solve this one.

OK, sorry... all I had to do was collapse the 3d & Materials and it showed Align and 3D & Materials, and Transform and Pathfinder.  

Noob mistake.
