Hello all...

I am entering a competition to create a mural for a building in my University. The theme is 'Connecting People' and the design has to look effective up close and from a far. I have created a design with a few colour variants.

I would love to hear your opinions on the design, but more importantly which colours work best!

Good luck with the competition Harvey.

I hope the University is using it as a means to hamsomly reward a student, rather than from a mingy cheapscate stance.

Maybe not 1? I was a living near a light cement coulured wall and birds keep meeting their demise, by flying right into it.

It had to be painted darker eventually.

Your designs looks nice and minamilistic- but who knows- the judges might favour one that incorporates local themes ?

The members there often give very insightful opionons and views on practicalities etc.

Thank you! The first price is a new Macbook Pro so I want to make sure I choose the right colour! I was also considering incorporating local themes, however the previous winner for a different building also used a minimalist design (and it won). I think as it would hopefully be on a large wall I don't want to incorporate too many features, it also needs to look good up close and from a far.

    They are not no, I tired to use the colours of the charity that is slightly tied to it but it didn't look very good
