Illustrator now runs on a modernized DirectX 12 rendering backend on Windows, delivering improved responsiveness and enhanced visual fidelity. Fix for "Colleague of mine is having text issues in 29.6.1, MacOS. Basically, he has some text placed within an area type object, and when he tries to change select words from plain to bold italic, the type glitches. Outlining the type resolves the problem."
