Latest Beta Build 30.0.4 is now available in CCD. We have below fixes in this build

Artboard Color
Add color to your artboards/document while creation itself. Yes, Artboard color can be added now from cmd-n window. Also thumbnails in finder and recents in HS will show the color applied on Artboard.

With today's Beta, crash recovery now employs the native .ai format instead of the earlier .aid and .aishm formats, delivering more reliable and performant recoveries. To use this improvement, ensure "Optimize Save for Performance" remains enabled under "Save in Background"; if this setting is turned off, recovery will continue to generate .aid files. There are a few known scenarios—such as documents containing certain styles and third‑party plugin artwork—where the new recovery path may display an error toast and exit; these cases are known and a fix is in progress for a subsequent update.
