Can I apply a filter to cetain layer only somehow

Like in Painter?   For example brightness/contrast  affecting only  single layer?

Thanks Ares Hovhannesyan. Is there a way to use dynamic mask of leaves produced  by height blend ?   Like in Painter or qixel mixer?    I mean without changing layers order becuase its sometimes leads into other issues.  

 

So far it looks for me I could do perfectly same in Painter with more options and flexibility

I assume you area asking about this. You have to use mask property of filter as we do in photoshop and place filter above the second material,

Agree with you that Painter do that task perfectly than Sampler for now. I cant find any solution in Sampler for now to do that.
