Displacement not working properly in Blender (8 bit?)

Hi!

I'm having issues with the displacement maps exported out of Substance Sampler. The displacement is giving a very pixelated result, which may be caused by the displacement map being only 8 bit? The base color and normal map have both 32 bits.

I tried sereval output formats, but all giving the same result. In Substance Sampler the displacement looks way cleaner.

Is there a solution to fix this?

Hi,
Indeed the Height map should be in 16 bit.

On which version of 3D Sampler are you working?
How do you export the maps from Sampler (what are the parameters you use)?

Can you share your log file with us? (Help>Export Log)
