DPI Change

I have reported this issue previously and I want to open this issue on the forum.

The issue is with the original, starter, image DPI's changing from input to final render. As an example, I start with 1024 X 1024 300 DPI .png, tif or .jpg image, and the exported base, diffuse, material DPI is not as the input image's DPI. Examples attached.

Hi,
300 DPI is using usually for prints and this value isn't related to the resolution (the size of your image).
Usually for games or web we use between 72 and 150 DPI.

The size of your output isn't related to the original you import but the resolution you select at export (512x512; 1024x1024; etc. ....).

If you want a big texture put a great resuolution. The more DPI you have the more your map will weight and it is not recommended for you games as it take a lot of memory space. And in facts you'll see any differences between a map in 72/150 DPI and 300 DPI on screens.
