Hi,

  1. In my workflow i have to extract regions of a input image and create tilable textures of them. The current methods in sampler with cropping is very limiting and it would be great to get something like the conent aware fill and clone brush functionalities from photoshop to have everything in one software.

This feel that while sampler is a fantastic tool it does not cover this part of tilable textures very well and it would be a valuable additon to it so one does not nerd to jump around 2-3 different softwares to achieve this task.

If this is the wring place for feature proposals it would be nice to get a pointed in the right direction.

Hi,

Thank you for your input!

The tool "clone stamp" in Sampler is very similar to the clone brush in Photoshop.

Depending on the kind of texture, you're working on, the filter "Make it Tile" can be very useful and easy to use.

Thanks for the answer, im currently working with these tools, however im more refering this to the missing content aware fill from photoshop and additiinal healing functionalities of the clone stamp which are missing in sampler.

What would already help a lot would be a masking functuinality in the crop tool in combination with make tile. This could imitate the content aware fill quite closely and would simplify this task a lot.
