How To Create a Mask on any Layer?

Thanks for the question.

 

There isn't a "mask filter" in Substance Sampler. When bringing a material to the Layer stack, an Height blend is added to the material, or some filters have a mask option in their properties. These are the two kinds of mask you'll find in Sampler.

 

There are discussions on the subject for a real mask to add on layers, but nothing to share for now.
