How to use Sampler to create a Trim Sheet?

I would love to use Sampler to create a Trim Sheet with at least two different materials.
Let's say Wood and Metal.

I couldn't find any tutorial out there.
Still wondering, how you can create a simple horizontal mask to define two different materials?

thanks for any ideas,
appreciate it!

Atlas Creator | Substance 3D Sampler (adobe.com)

Some time I use it. You need to create Atlas then mixed two material.

Perhaps you can use "Floor Tiles", which can make multiple different materials appear on a tile. I'm not sure if I understand your needs correctly. You can take a look at the pictures I provided

I tried it with a tiling filter like floors, but I couldn't create the mask as I would have needed it. A simple mask filter would be so handy. Thank you very much for your idea, appreciate it!

Hi @PixelFun,

Building Trim Sheets could be a complicated task to make inside Substance Sampler considering the soft wasn't intended for such a specific workflow. With that being said, I would externally create a custom mask to use on my filters (when available), but just so you know, there currently isn't a mask filter on Sampler.

Best regards,
