Image to Material (AI) M1 Macs

Is Image to Material (AI) supported on M1 Macs now?  I tried it but the filter just keeps spiming / calculating endlessly.

 

Using M1 Mac Mini 16GB RAM.

Ok. I see now it does work - at least with a 4K texture.  I was inadvertently initially using an 8k texture which I guess was simply too big.  Once I reduced it to 4K Sampler's Image to Material (AI) worked as expected.
