Slow Sampler

Sampler has become awfully slow all of a sudden. When I switch between menus there is a long pause and even " Not responding" message will appear and the screen will turn white. There isn't a crash, however the program just is slow when stitching to a new menu. I have re-installed Sampler twice and installed on different HD, same result, slo................................w!
