(Steam Substance sampler version) Cant view material - views as black image

hello, ive come across an issue regarding importing/viewing materials inside of sampler, like others i too was also effected by the nvidia driver problem, im wondering if its still because of that? 

ive tried exporting the material to see if anything got exported and only got a roughness map

Can you detail a bit on when it started for you ? After 5.0.0 install or after some use of the 5.0.0 ?

Im also getting this error, even after the newest update the other day. I hadn't touched anything with this, I just brought in an image and everything goes black.

You can bot try this:
delete or rename (for back up) this folder :
~/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Substance 3D Sampler

This will reset your Sampler so make sure you have backups if needed.

Are you on steam or creative cloud ? The path to the folder isn't the same.

Here are all the path by platform and OS:

STEAM:
Win: ~/AppData/Roaming/Allegorithmic/ Adobe Substance 3D Sampler
Mac: /Users/USER/Library/Application Support/Allegorithmic/Adobe Substance 3D Sampler
Linux: /home/username/.local/share/Allegorithmic/Substance 3D sampler

CREATIVE CLOUD:
Win :~/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Substance 3D Sampler
Mac: /Users/USER/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Substance 3D Sampler

Leaving a message here because I have the exact same issue since the update, hope a fix is due asap.

 

For me putting an invert on opacity doesnt work, I assume I am doing it correctly

Can you share your screen and maps and logfile? It might be an other issue if it isn't related to the opacity.
To share the log file go to Help>Export Log

Can you tell us if your Opacity map is fully black ?
